Here is the general information about why I am presenting this case study here without getting into too much details. A sort of TL;DR for people who come to this section because they're curious but realize they won't read the whole story. Though this section is basically the "HOOK" and need to make you want to read the full story.

The Challenge - Story Chapter Here to clarify structure

Aurélie Guillet is a musician, dancer, teacher, researcher and stage artist. Her work moves across several disciplines, and the difficulty was not a lack of material, but the opposite: finding a way to communicate this richness without fragmenting it into separate identities. As she was preparing a new website, she needed a coherent visual language, but also clarity around how she wanted to present herself. The challenge became less about “showing everything she does” and more about finding the thread capable of holding it all together.

The Process - Evocative title of process

Over several months, we combined coaching, research and media production. We explored what had felt uncomfortable or ineffective in previous communication, where Aurélie was in her career, and what kind of presence actually felt like her. A central shift emerged: instead of trying to make every project explain the others, we placed Aurélie herself at the centre. The photo and video sessions became part of that exploration, with time deliberately built in for conversation, adjustment and reflection. Rather than simply performing for the camera, we tested ways of working until the images felt natural, expressive and aligned.

The Impact - Motivating result

The result was a flexible visual body of work for her website and communication: portraits, different visual setups and moving-image material that could support the variety of her practice without trying to reduce it. More importantly, the process created a clearer foundation for how she could speak about her work going forward. When communication is rooted in something that feels coherent personally, it becomes easier to make decisions, create new material and share work without constantly rebuilding the story from scratch. The goal was not only stronger content, but a more fluid and enjoyable relationship with being visible.

Why it matters

The goal was never just to create better images. It was to build enough clarity and alignment that communicating about the work could become easier, more natural, and more sustainable over time.So many amazing creative/entrepreneurs and small businesses do amazing work, but struggle to find pleasure in the process of sharing it with the world. That is the mission of Cressens Media. This is where fulfillment exists.

A word from Aurélie

I didn’t just come away with new images. I came away with a much clearer sense of how I wanted to show up in my own work. Pierre's presence and support during the process allowed me to find my voice.
